Technologically advanced enterprise opens in Khobi Municipality

The JSC Partnership Fund-supported enterprise produces combined food for cattle, bird, fish and snails, with a production ratio of 3,5 per hour supplied to a local market. Apart from employing 50 local dwellers, an enterprise will produce food for snails for the first time in Georgia. Mr Iuri Nozadze, Deputy Minister of Envrionmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia and Mr Davit Saganelidze, CEO of the Partnership Fund paid a visit to the respective enterprise Georgian Vegetable Oil Company LTD “Karva” in Khobi. 

 

 “Food production is a vital fundament for cattle farming. Technologically advanced enterprise of combined food has been launched in Georgia, which will complement and replace import to a certain extent” – Mr Iuri Nozadze, Deputy Minister of Envrionmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia. 

 

“Samegrelo region, Khobi, has gained a new enterprise, established by the Partnership Fund. LTD “Karva” has launched a new line of combined food production for cattle, birds, fish and snails, the latter being in an increasing demand. Such production significantly enhances development of agricultural novelties” – Mr Davit Saganelidze, CEO of the “Partnership Fund” stated. 

 

Apart from meaningful contribution of Enterprise Georgia, Cartu Bank and BasisBank, Agricultural and Rural Development Agency, Partnership Fund, the enterprise has been complemented by the partners itself.
