Minister Davitashvili: “Consistent liaison guarantees undisrupted supply of bread to the population”

Mr Levan Davitashvili, Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture (MEPA) continues regular meetings with heads of grain, wheat and wheat-derived production associations. Consistent coordination with the respective business sector has shaped guarantees for safeguarding highly responsible policies within the associations on levelling off stability and social securities on the market, which is mutually beneficial.

“The Ministry has been hosting coordination meetings aiming at joining forces and ensuring undisrupted supply of wheat-derived production to the population, as well as levelling off stable prices. Unimpeded supply of such production is of vital importance and we shall carry a joint responsibility for ensuring an undisrupted supply” – Minister Davitashvili stated.

The meeting enjoyed participation of Mr Giorgi Khanishvili, the first Deputy Minister of MEPA, heads of grain, wheat and wheat-derived production associations, along with representatives of MEPA’s various departments.
