November 23 embraces 1, 928 tonnes of tangerines already exported from Georgia

Georgia has embarked on a successful effort of exporting tangerines, which has already amounted to 941, 000 USD. During the period of August 1 – November 23, 2020, Georgia has exported 1, 928 tonnes of tangerines.

 

Tangerines have already been exported to Armenia (883 tonnes) and the Russian Federation (899 tonnes). Nevertheless, dwellers of Ukraine, Moldova and Kazakhstan can also enjoy Georgian tangerines. 

 

Nearly 30 enterprises will accept standard tangerines, which will go through storage, processing, oversight and registry within an electronic system. Non-standard tangerines will be accepted by the citrus sorting-packing and container manufacturing enterprise in Kobuleti.
