4,8 million USD worth of persimmons exported from Georgia by November 29
During the period of August 1 – November 29, 2020, Georgia has exported 9, 088 tonnes of persimmons, worth of 4, 8 million USD. Export scale of 2020 has boosted in 27 % compared with 2019 deliverable, while cost of export has exceeded in 31 %. Moreover, export price on persimmons has increased in 3 % throughout the given timeline.In 2020, export destinations for the Georgian persimmons have been the Russian Federation (4, 004 tonnes), Ukraine (2, 931 tonnes) and Armenia (2, 009 tonnes), as well as Belarus, Qatar, Moldova, Hong Kong, Kazakhstan and Hungary.Â
