5,5 million USD worth of persimmons exported from Georgia by December 6
During the period of August 1 – December 6, 2020, Georgia has exported 10, 332 tonnes of persimmons, which has amounted to 5, 5 million USD. As a comparison to an incumbent momentum of 2019 – export scale of persimmons has boosted in 38 %, while cost of export to 41 %The core export destinations for the Georgian persimmons are the Russian Federation (4, 510 tonnes), Ukraine (3, 121 tonnes) and Armenia (2, 556 tonnes). Dwellers of Belarus, Qatar, Moldova, Hong Kong, Kazakhstan and Hungary have also received Georgian-exported persimmons.
