4,6 million USD worth of tangerines amounting from Georgia by December 6
Georgia remains in an active phase of harvesting tangerines. Harvesting and accommodating efforts have been held in an organized manner, which is complemented by a special task force set up in the Autonomous Republic of Adjara, Kobuleti municipality. Nearly 30 enterprises accept standard tangerines. which will go through storage, processing, oversight and registry within an electronic system. Non-standard tangerines are accepted by the citrus sorting-packing and container manufacturing enterprise in Kobuleti, which also go through storage, processing, oversight and registry within an electronic system. By December 6, - 9, 476 tonnes of tangerines have been exported, amounting to 4, 6 million USD.
