Georgia exports 10, 834 tonnes of persimmons during August 1 – December 13
During the period of August 1 – December 13, 2020, Georgia has exported 10, 834 tonnes of persimmons, which has amounted to 5, 7 million USD. As a comparison to an incumbent momentum of 2019 – export scale of persimmons has boosted in 39 %, while worth of export to 40 %.
The core export destinations for the Georgian persimmons are the Russian Federation (4, 656 tonnes), Ukraine (3, 196 tonnes) and Armenia (2, 838 tonnes). Nevertheless, Georgian persimmons have been exported to Belarus, Qatar, Moldova, Hong Kong, Kazakhstan and Hungary.
