Georgia exports 2, 9 million USD worth of apples during August 1 – December 13
Georgia has embarked on a successful effort of exporting apples, which has already amounted to 2, 9 million USD. From the period of August 1 – December 13, 2020, Georgia has exported 6, 739 tonnes of apples, which exceeds an export scale of the same momentum per 2019 in 14 times. As a success story – worth of export has increased in 2, 5 million USD.
Apple export has mostly, 6, 456 tonnes, been exported to the Russian Federation. Nevertheless, Georgian apples have been exported to Kazakhstan, Armenia, Singapore and Hong Kong.
