6 million USD worth of persimmons exported from Georgia during August 1 – December 27
During the period of August 1 – December 27, 2020, Georgia has exported 11, 4 tonnes of persimmons, which has amounted to 6 million USD. As a comparison to an incumbent momentum of 2019 – export scale of persimmons has boosted in 42 %, while cost of export to 43 %.
The core export destinations for the Georgian persimmons are the Russian Federation (4, 8 tonnes), Ukraine (3, 3 tonnes) and Armenia (3, 2 tonnes). Belarus, Qatar, Moldova, Hong Kong, Kazakhstan and Hungary have also received Georgian-exported persimmons.
