5, 6 million USD of apples exported from Georgia by February 21
Throughout the period of August 1, 2020 – February 21, 2021, Georgia has exported 13,0 K tonnes of apples amounting to 5, 6 million USD, which exceeds an export scale of the same momentum per 2019/2020 in 13 times, while worth of export has increased in 5, 0 million USD. These export projections have been the highest for the last 20 years (marketing years).Apple export has mostly, 12, 5 K tonnes, been to the Russian Federation. Nevertheless, Georgia has also exported apples to Kazakhstan, Armenia, Hungary, Turkmenistan, Singapore and Hong Kong.
