By February 21 Georgia has exported 19, 1 million USD of tangerines

During the period of August 1, 2020 – February 21, 2021, Georgia has exported 39, 3 K tonnes of tangerines, which has amounted to 19, 1 million USD. These export projections have been the highest for the last 10 years (marketing years). 
As a comparison to an incumbent momentum of 2019/2020 – export scale of tangerines has boosted in 7, 9 K tonnes (25 %), while cost of export to 2, 8 million USD (17 %). 


Tangerines harvested throughout 2020, have been mainly exported to the Russian Federation (22, 6 tonnes), Armenia (8, 9 tonnes) and Ukraine (5, 3 tonnes). Moldova, Turkmenistan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Slovenia, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, USA and Germany have also received Georgian-exported tangerines.
