On March 1, call for expression of interest within the Imereti Agro Zone’s (an electronic platform www.iaz.ge) Greenhouse Cluster Development project was announced

he Government of Georgia allocated 220 hectares of land for greenhouse cluster development at Tskaltubo and Baghdati municipalities. The cooperation prospects anticipate high, medium and low technological greenhouses, center for logistics and sales, processing enterprises and creation/development of various assisting businesses. 

The project has been initiated by the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia (MEPA) in February 2020 as a joint effort with the Georgian – Dutch consultation company „GeoHolding” & KSH Consortium. 

The Government of Georgia allocated 220 hectares of land for greenhouse cluster development at Tskaltubo and Baghdati municipalities. The concept of the project aspires to enable the State to develop key infrastructure, which will translate into undisrupted business operations.

The LLC “Imereti Agro Zone” will accept expression of interest (EOI) by April 30, 2020. Detailed information on EOIs can be accessed at: www.iaz.ge.
