Minister Davitashvili: “Impact on Tskaltubo thermal waters has been studied in details, which had been requested from the Ministry in advance. I believe in solid evidence that Tskaltubo mineral waters will not be impacted”
The Environmental Impact Assessment report has been complemented by other (geological, geophysical, engineer – geological, and hydrological) studies, which has enclosed research on correlation of Tskaltubo thermal waters, which was carried out and developed by the company „TEMELSU INTERNATIONAL ENGINEERING“.As we discuss possible impact of lower Namakhvani dam construction on thermal-mineral waters of Tskaltubo – it shall be noted that based on natural-hydrological and geological environment, location of the lower Namakhvani dam absolutely does not have an impact on formation of thermal-mineral waters of Tskaltubo, as well as locations of the corresponding catering and leisure. Therefore, Tskaltubo resort will absolutely not be affected by the lower Namakhvani dam’s infrastructure.
