Wild animals belong in the wild nature

The Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia appeals to an intensified cases of removing wild animals from wildlife habitat:

Some of the wild animals have been abandoned or left alone without guardianship as an aftermath of illegal hunting; however, removing these animals from the wildlife habitat destines them to death or eternal slavery. Moreover, wild animals pose a constant threat to humans, as they live aside. The wild animals may always attack. The wild animals belong in nature.

As for bear cubs, who are so frequently removed from the forests – brown bear has been enlisted in Georgia’s Red List, as species who are endangered. Therefore, captivity or killing of these species will entail prosecution as set forth in the law.Â
