Minister Davitashvili: “We will have comprehensive and high-quality meteorological information”
“In 2020, a modern radar was installed in Kutaisi, which entails the latest technologies and appliances for generating comprehensive and accurate meteorological information, which spans across an entire West Georgia. For generating meteorological data of Tbilisi, Kvemo Kartli, Shida Kartli and Samtskhe – we will install the same kind of modern radars at these locations. We shall touch upon an already existing radar in Kakheti; thus, these three radars will successfully cover an entire country. We will have comprehensive and high-quality meteorological information, as a preventive remedy for infrastructure, agriculture and other areas. Having an accurate meteorological station is very important” - Mr Levan Davitashvili, Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia stated within the “Ministerial Hour”.
