Minister Davitashvili: “Georgia has successfully tackled a multi-year challenge of fighting the armored bug”

“As an effort to strengthen phytosanitary, Georgia has purchased appliances that it didn’t possess before. Nowadays, Georgian phytosanitary division is among the best ones on the region, as well as beyond. These challenges have resulted into deployment of large-scale investments and nowadays, Georgia’s success story of fighting armored bug has been embraced by United States, Australia, New Zealand and other European countries. Our specialists are invited to international seminars for sharing success stories on how did we succeed in our efforts” - Mr Levan Davitashvili, Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia stated.
