Minister Davitashvili” “Funding of amelioration infrastructure will be unprecedently high”
“We have allocated more resources for implementing reforms in 2021. During an ongoing year, the Ministry will deploy 50 million GEL from the state budget with an additional 80 million GEL from the World Bank, which will have a profound impact on enhancing irrigation infrastructure. We will join forces with donors and experts to improve drainage systems; we have already harvested success in the latter direction through capacity building of technical capabilities. Also, drainage space increases annually and magistral channels are being cleaned” - Mr Levan Davitashvili, Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia stated.
