Minister Levan Davitashvili met with Louisa Vinton, Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Georgia

Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, Mr Levan Davitashvili hosted Ms Louisa Vinton, Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Georgia, as she commences her mission in Georgia. Minister thanked Ms Vinton for meaningful and effective assistance in agricultural and environmental programming. 

In the course of the meeting, Ms Vinton stressed out how outstanding the cooperation with the Ministry has been, upon the latter institution holding an effective and successful strategy on agricultural and environmental policies. Ms Vinton also demonstrated willingness to continue cooperation between UNDP and the Ministry. Among the topics discussed at the meeting had been and not limited to development of protected territories, sustainable development of natural resources, remediating air pollution, waste management and enhancing cooperation in agriculture. 

The meeting at the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia was also attended by Deputy Minister Nino Tandilashvili.Â
