Deputy Minister Giorgi Khanishvili delivers opening remarks to the III online committee of the Georgia-Turkey Agriculture

The first Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, Mr Giorgi Khanishvili delivered opening remarks at the III online committee of the Georgia-Turkey Agriculture and emphasized on importance of partnerships and trade-economic relations enhancement between the two countries; special emphasis has been made on export potential of agricultural products. 

As Deputy Minister Khanishvili stated, rural-agricultural and forestry areas entail significant prospects for cooperation between the countries; he also expressed willingness to pursue cooperation in aquaculture, plant protection, animal health and scientific affairs. 

Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Forestry of Turkey, Mr Akif Ozkaldi stressed out how impressive Georgia’s agricultural development has been. Deputy Minister Ozkaldi discussed possibilities for expanding trade-economic relations between the two countries, as well as scientific and production investment possibilities in Georgia.Â
