Minister Davitashvili: “The Ministry has a detailed roadmap for 2030 that entails each and every programming”

Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, Mr Levan Davitashvili attended a meeting of the Parliamentary Majority and the Cabinet of Ministers hosted in Borjomi, which aspired to present a 10-year-plan of the Ministry. 

“This is a very detailed roadmap, which entails each and every programming of the Ministry and indicates what are an anticipated achievements by 2030 from an economic angle and what are the parameters to be achieved in terms of agriculture and food production. Also, what type of policy shall the Ministry deploy on environmental programming. The respective document is surely in compliance with an Association Agreement and aspires harmonization with the European Union (EU) and ensure that Georgia submits an application for EU membership in 2024” – Minister Davitashvili stated. 

In Borjomi, attendees discussed various vital matters of the strategic goals for Georgia’s development.
