Export of peaches and nectarines increased 18 times compared to the same period last year
From May 1 to June 27, 2021, Georgia exported 1,636 tonnes of peaches and nectarines amounting to USD 1,433 thousand.The export of peaches and nectarines were increased 18 times compared to the same period in 2020, which amounted to USD 73 thousand.
During the mentioned period, export price of peaches and nectarines increased by 7% , amounting to $ 0.88 / kg.
Peaches and nectarines produced this year were mainly exported to Russia (938 tonnes) and Armenia (649 tonnes).
