As of June 29, Georgia exported blueberries amounting to USD 2,429 thousand
From May 1 to June 29 2021, Georgia exported 376 tonnes of blueberries, which amounted to USD 2,429 thousand. The volume of blueberry export increased by 4% ( 14 tonnes ), while the value increased by 14%, amounting to USD 307 thousand, compared to the same period last year.During the mentioned period, the export price of blueberries increased by 10% amounting to USD 6.5 / kg.
The blueberries were mainly exported to the Russian Federation (363 tonnes), and small quantities to the United Arab Emirates (8.3 tonnes), Armenia (2.0 tonnes), Qatar (1.5 tonnes) and Moldova (0.9 tonnes).
