The National Wildlife Agency elaborating the Law of Georgia on Hunting and Hunting Species, as a successful remedy to restrict braconniers

The National Wildlife Agency is elaborating the Law of Georgia on Hunting and Hunting Species, which will be an effective remedy for ensuring certification of hunters and that will be a successful remedy to restrict braconniers. Meanwhile, the Agency will work actively toward sustaining and enriching flora and fauna, as well as Caucasian endemic and rare species. The Agency’s future plan aims at determining genetic code of endemic species of fauna, as well as marking system; all of these being part of the monitoring.

 

Moreover, the Agency fosters fishery and fish populations of river trout, which shall increase to 1 million; therefore, annually, more than 5000 Caucasian pheasant, partridge will be ensured and set free out to the nature or hunting establishments. The Agency will also ensure at least 200 000 seedlings of the types enlisted into the Chala Forest and “Red List”.
