Minister Davitashvili: “We shall double investments to ensure a target of 3 billion USD export from agro-products sector”
“It is an absolutely reality for Georgia to gain 3 billion USD of income from agro-product sector. Georgia has a capacity to replace 300-400 million USD of product import, which will significantly improve trade balance. We have launched efforts for decreasing import, that will be translated into 2 billion USD of NET export from agro-production sector by 2030. It will be an additional income for companies, business and our citizens – Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, Mr Levan Davitashvili stated, while presenting the “Environmental Protection and Rural Development 2030”
