13 agricultural laboratories equipped with national and international standards will operate across Georgia

State Laboratory of Agriculture holds the relevant accreditation status of National Standard SST ISO / IEC 17025: 2017/2018 and has introduced a quality management system in accordance with the requirements of the international standard ISO 9001: 2015. The laboratory annually studies, introduces and further accredits new, international standard research methods. The number of studies currently available in the laboratory will increase by 50% in the next 10 years,.

Moreover, two new laboratories will start operating in Sachkhere and Mestia  apart from the existing laboratories in the laboratory network (Tbilisi, Kutaisi, Akhaltsikhe, Dusheti, Gurjaani, Ozurgeti, Gori, Marneuli, Batumi, Ambrolauri, Zugdidi) in the near future, due to the interest of the population. 13 agricultural laboratories equipped with national and international standards will operate across Georgia

Continuous accreditation process is underway in the laboratory. Consequently, existing research methods are re-accredited once every four years. In addition, the specialists of the laboratory successfully pass the international qualification tests every year.
