Minister Davitashvili: “Our citizens will access information on every State project in a unified space”
The State-elaborated web-page will feature information on the Government-implemented projects in a unified space, which can be accessed at: www.programs.gov.ge“We are accountable to our citizens, hence we have accumulated all the information on the State-elaborated programs, which will now be accessible at an interactive map. I would like to express my gratitude to the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia and each and every person and structure, which has taken part in the development process of the map. I would like to especially stress out contribution from the Ministry of Justice of Georgia, which is our partner. Public Service Centers under the Ministry of Justice have made it possible to transform information accessible for every citizen and on every project undertaken by the State.
We have often heard how accurate the statistics is with regard to the reality. The respective interactive map entails information on specific enterprises. I firmly believe that the latter map is a credible source for making decisions, fostering entrepreneurship, diminishing poverty; most importantly, it will complement our ultimate goal to boost economic growth” – Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia stated.
The State Agency “Enterprise Georgia” is a sub-agency under the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture and the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, which has joined forces with the National Agency of State Property since 2013 and has supported 1, 806 projects. A total amount of investments attracted has amounted to 2,5 billion GEL and have created 52,831 jobs.
