" More than 200 thousand citizens are able bodied and capable of work out of five hundred thousand people receiving social assistance. At least 200,000 people are able to do different types of jobs, all of the aforementioned needs proper management and more efforts from the state.

" The Ministry of Health has taken numerous measures, including creation and development of an electronic databases - Mr. Levan Davitashvili, Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture said in a live televised address from Rustavi 2.

The Minister noted, that participation of 200 thousand people in public activities is absolutely real and we see this practice in many countries, such as, Germany, Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia, Poland, etc.

"The European Union has the highest standard in the protection of human rights. We would like to embrace the same practice in our country. 200 thousand people is a huge workforce which can create value; At the same time, it is very important to improve their social and economic conditions.
Therefore, the main point of the program is not budgetting or ‘’save money’’ by cutting social assistance programs, on the contrary, we must create added values through proper use of funds."- said Levan Davitashvili.
