Georgia exported hazelnut worth of 66.8 mln USD as of November 28, 2021

During the period of August 1 – November 28, 2021, Georgia has exported 14.6 thousand tonnes of hazelnut, which has amounted into 66.8 million USD. 

The vast majority of Georgian hazelnut is exported to EU markets - Italy (5,957 tonnes), Germany (2,628 tonnes), Spain (424 tonnes), Czech Republic (423 tonnes), Poland (337 tonnes), Lithuania (284 tonnes), France (239 tonnes), Bulgaria (132 tonnes), Greece (71 tonnes), Latvia (70 tonnes), Estonia ( 60 tonnes), Belgium (41 tonnes), Hungary (22 tonnes), Croatia (20 tonnes).

Georgian hazelnuts is also exported to the following countries: Armenia (930 tonnes), China (780 tonnes), Ukraine (256 tonnes), Russia (337 tonnes), Algeria (241 tonnes), Saudi Arabia (208 tonnes), Belarus (186 tonnes), Iraq ( 168 tonnes), Switzerland (151 tonnes), Mexico (120 tonnes), Canada (95 tonnes), Azerbaijan (82 tonnes), Argentina (77 tonnes), United Arab Emirates (61 tonnes), Kazakhstan (45 tonnes), Uzbekistan ( 44 tonnes), in the United Kingdom (22 tonnes), Turkey (22 tonnes), Kyrgyzstan (22 tonnes), Tunisia (15 tonnes), Jordan (14 tonnes).
