Georgia exported 15.2 thousand tonnes of hazelnut from August 1 to December 5

During the period of August 1 – December 5, 2021, Georgia has exported 15.2 thousand tonnes of hazelnut, which has amounted into USD 69.8 mln. 

 

The volume of exports increased by 31% ( 3.6 tonnes) during the aforementioned period, while the value of exports increased by 12%, amounting to USD 7.3 mln, compared to the same period in 2020.

 

 The vast majority of Georgian hazelnut is exported to EU markets - Italy (6,135 tonnes), Germany (2,904 tonnes), Spain (446 tonnes), Czech Republic (445 tonnes), Poland (337 tonnes), Lithuania (284 tonnes), France (239 tonnes), Bulgaria (132 tonnes), Greece (71 tonnes), Latvia (70 tonnes), Estonia (60 tonnes), Belgium (41 tonnes), Hungary (22 tonnes), Croatia (20 tonnes).

Georgian hazelnuts is also exported to the following countries: Armenia (964 tonnes), China (780 tonnes), Ukraine (256 tonnes), Russia (337 tonnes), Algeria (241 tonnes), Saudi Arabia (208 tonnes), Belarus (206 tonnes), Iraq ( 168 tonnes), Switzerland (151 tonnes), Mexico (120 tonnes), Canada (95 tonnes), Azerbaijan (82 tonnes), Argentina (77 tonnes), United Arab Emirates (61 tonnes), Kazakhstan (45 tonnes), Turkey ( 44 tonnes), Uzbekistan (44 tonnes), United Kingdom (22 tonnes), Kyrgyzstan (22 tonnes), Tunisia (15 tonnes), Jordan (14 tonnes).
