As of February 13, Georgia exported 19.7 thousand tonnes of hazelnuts

From August 1, 2021 to February 13, 2022, Georgia exported 19.7 thousand tonnes of hazelnuts amounting to USD 90.4 million.


The volume of exported hazelnuts increased by 26 % ( 4.1 thousand tonnes), while the value increased by 9 %, amounting to USD 7.4 million, compared to the same period last year.


 
Georgian hazelnuts are mainly exported to the EU markets - Italy (8,157 tonnes), Germany (3,719 tonnes), Spain (638 tonnes), Czech Republic (504 tonnes), Lithuania (393 tonnes), Poland (379 tonnes), France (375 tonnes) , Bulgaria (144 tonnes), Estonia (98 tonnes), Greece (71 tonnes), Latvia (70 tonnes), Belgium (41 tonnes), Hungary (22 tonnes), Croatia (20 tonnes).




Georgian hazelnuts are exported to the following countries: Armenia (1,357 tonnes), China (785 tonnes), Russia (422 tonnes), Ukraine (361 tonnes), Algeria (241 tonnes), Saudi Arabia (326 tonnes), Belarus (283 tonnes), Iraq ( 168 tonnes), Switzerland (173 tonnes), Mexico (120 tonnes), Canada (120 tonnes), Argentina (119 tonnes), Turkey (92 tonnes), Azerbaijan (82 tonnes), United Arab Emirates (75 tonnes), Uzbekistan ( 66 tonnes), Kazakhstan (45 tonnes), Kyrgyzstan (44 tonnes), Jordan (30 tonnes), Tunisia (27 tonnes), United Kingdom (22 tonnes).
