Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Mrs. Nino Tandilashvili briefed the Minister of Environment and Climate Change of the State of Qatar on the strategic vision
of the Government of Georgia and highlighted measures taken by Georgia to address climate change. 

The parties also discussed issues related to waste management and recycling. According to the Minister of Environment of Qatar, the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding on environmental issues with the Government of Georgia will be a crucial issue for the future. 

The meeting was attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the State of Qatar, Mr. Nikoloz Revazishvili. ..
