A working meeting was held with the farmers and agro-entrepreneurs at the State Laboratory of Agriculture.

" Encouraging farmers and entrepreneurs to produce safe and healthy products to the greatest extent possible, which guarantees competitiveness in the local market and increases exports to the EU countries are crucial. We are ready for cooperation and support, "said Mr. Solomon Pavliashvili, Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture at the meeting in the laboratory.
 
In his speech, the Deputy Minister stressed the need for cooperation between government agencies and farmers/entrepreneurs.
 
Specialists of the State Laboratory of Agriculture highlighted issues, regarding the capabilities of the laboratory in the field of food research and diagnosis of animal diseases, including the adoption of research methods at an international level. 
Farmers and entrepreneurs visited the laboratories equipped with modern equipment. 
 
"We prioritize customer demand, based on which the list of research studies is constantly updated and adopted in compliance with the international standards," said the director of the laboratory, Mr. Irakli Guledani.

The meeting was attended by the representatives of the National Food Agency, the State Laboratory of Agriculture, dairy farms, farmers and business associations.
