Nino Tandilashvili meets Jenny Ohlsson, State Secretary to Minister for International Development Cooperation, Ministry for Foreign Affairs in Sweden

Mrs. Nino Tandilashvili, Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia held a meeting with Mrs. Jenny Olson, State Secretary to the Minister for International Development Cooperation,  Ministry for Foreign Affairs in Sweden.


During the meeting held within the framework of the Stockholm + 50 High-Level International Conference in Stockholm, the capital of the Kingdom of Sweden, Mrs. Nino Tandilashvili informed Mrs. Jenny Ohlson about ongoing and planned reforms in Georgia, and set focus on the European integration process.

The Deputy Minister noted, that Georgia has applied for EU membership and is waiting for the most important decision. The sides highlighted trade-economic relations of Georgia, agro-food production and export potential-related issues. 

The State Secretary to the Minister for International Development Cooperation,  Mrs.  Jenny Olson reaffirmed the support of the Swedish Government and expressed readiness for future cooperation.

 

The meeting between the parties was attended by the Deputy Ambassador of Georgia to the Kingdom of Sweden Mr. Levan Machavariani.
