Georgia exported fruits and hazelnuts worth USD 105.1 million in last 8 months
As of September 1, 2022, in the last 8 months, Georgia exported fruits and hazelnuts worth USD 105.1 million, which is 9.5% higher than in 2021.
According to the data of September 1, 2022, the following products are listed as an increase in the share of exports from Georgia:
• Hazelnuts - in the mentioned period, the export value amounted to USD 45.2 million, which is 3.6% higher than the previous year. Hazelnuts were exported to 35 countries, mainly to the European Union countries, where Georgia exported hazelnuts worth USD 33.0 million.
• Peaches and nectarines - export value amounted to USD 28.4 million, which is 3.6% higher than in the previous year.Â
• Blueberry - the value of export amounted to USD 8.4 million, which is 49.0% higher than the previous year.Â
