Nino Tandilashvili participates in the 9th Ministerial Conference of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) ‘Environment for Europe’’
During the 9th Ministerial Conference of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) ‘Environment for Europe’’ in Nicosia, the capital of the Republic of Cyprus, the Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Mrs. Nino Tandilashvili headed the session dedicated to the green economy development related issues.
In her speech, Mrs. Nino Tandilashvili underlined the importance of environmental protection, green economy development and air quality improvement in the country, moreover, the Deputy briefed the participants about the achievements made by Georgia in the environmental protection field.
It should be mentioned, that the environmental ministerial "Environment for Europe" is held once in 5 years.
