Nino Tandilashvili meets Sameh Wahba, Regional Director for Sustainable Development at the World Bank’s Europe and Central Asia region
The 27th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change – COP27 is held in the coastal city of Sharm el-Sheikh.
Within the framework of the high-level conference, the Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, Mrs. Nino Tandilashvili held a meeting with Mr. Sameh Wahba, Regional Director for Sustainable Development at the World Bank’s Europe and Central Asia region.
During the meeting, the parties discussed ongoing and planned projects supported by the World Bank in Georgia. The conversation touched upon the irrigation system, hydrometeorology, green economy strategy development, and climate change mitigation-adaptation-related issues.
The 27th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change will be held in the city of Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt from 6 to 18 November 2022.
