Tbilisi hosts the International Exhibition of Agriculture, Food Industry, Food Processing, and Packaging Technology Agro, Food, Drink, Tech Expo 2022

The largest event in the agricultural field – the International Exhibition of Agriculture, Food Industry, Food Processing, and Packaging Technology is held in partnership with the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture on November 18-20 at the exhibition center "Expo Georgia".


Agro/Food/Drink/Tech/Expo 2022 was opened by the First Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Mr. George Khanishvili, and the Director of the exhibition center "Expo Georgia", Mr. Resan Kikava.
It was mentioned,  that, due to the pandemic, after a two-year break, the twenty-year tradition was renewed. Under the exhibition, various activities, thematic conferences, debates, discussions, and workshops will be organized with the participation of donors, and state and private sectors.

Agro/Food/Drink/Tech/Expo 2022 is being held in the 11th pavilion of "Expo Georgia" and the surrounding outdoor space. Agricultural machinery, equipment, containers and packaging materials, greenhouse technologies and equipment, irrigation systems, laboratory equipment, planting and seed materials, fertilizer and pesticides, consulting services, and modern technologies are showcased at the exhibition.


The First Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture Mr. George Khanishvili participated in the conference "Agriculture in Georgia", which was conducted
within the framework of the exhibition, On November 18, 2022.

 

During the conference, a discussion panel was organized on the topic "Agricultural Development Plans and Opportunities", including a seminar "Ensuring access to finances and providing opportunities from the Private Sector and Donor Organizations Access ". Farmers from different regions of Georgia attended the conference.


It should be mentioned, that the exhibition is the best platform for entrepreneurs and farmers, which provides an opportunity to get familiar with the latest news and share best practices, also finding business contacts and partners. Therefore, it is especially important that the aforementioned exhibition is accessible to farmers and small entrepreneurs living in the regions.


Therefore,  800 farmers from all regions of Georgia are attending the 20th International Exhibition of Food Industry, Processing, and Packaging Technologies through the support of the Ministry
Agro/Food/Drink/Tech/Expo 2022 will host visitors from November 18-20, 11:00-19:00.
