During his visit to Qatar, Otar Shamugia met with the Chairman of the Leading Landscaping & Agriculture Company "Al Sulaiteen Group".

The Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, Mr. Otar Shamugia held a meeting with the Chairman of the largest Company, "Al Sulaiteen Group", Mr. Abdullah Salem Al Sulaiteen.

During the visit, Minister Shamugia inspected the greenhouse of the mentioned company. 

At the meeting, Mr. Shamugia briefed the representatives of the Company on the development trends in the agricultural sector of Georgia and provided information on agricultural support projects. 
The conversation touched upon the investment project "Imereti Agro Zone".

The parties emphasized the great potential for deepening trade and economic relations between the Gulf countries and Georgia.

Since 2001, the Company "Al Sulaiteen Group" has been implementing large projects, aiming to supply fresh fruits, vegetables, and flowers to the local market. Moreover, the Company collaborates with the biggest markets and foundations, including the Lulu hypermarket chain and the Qatar Foundation.
