The Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Tengiz Nasaridze attended the opening of the new enterprise of the "Chirina" company.
The "Chirina" company celebrated the 10th anniversary of the "Biu Biu" brand by opening a new meat products factory in the village of Sartichala, Gardabani district. Mr. Tengiz Nasaridze, Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, attended the opening ceremony of the enterprise.

The new enterprise was created within the Rural Development Agency's "Preferential Agrocredit" program with funding of GEL 10 million and the financial support of the Georgian and European Banks for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). The total cost of the project is about 35 million GEL.
The new enterprise is the first in Georgia, with its raw material base and producing fresh, raw meat products.
 The enterprise is equipped with cutting-edge technologies and fully complies with international standards. Daily production is calculated on 8-10 tons of products.

Every successful production means strengthening our country's economy and the well-being of our citizens. Today, hundreds of branded Georgian agricultural products are sold domestically and in numerous international markets.

These products are created in enterprises built with the state's financial and technical support. The state prioritizes agricultural development. Several projects and programs are launched to produce as many competitive, high-quality Georgian agricultural goods as possible.

We also carry out important work in terms of diversification of markets, which is complemented by marketing activities. Our goal is to increase demand for Georgian agricultural products on world markets", said Mr. Tengiz Nasaridze, Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture.

According to Mr. Tengiz Nasaridze, the new enterprise will employ people, mostly from nearby villages, which is also crucial.
It should be noted that "Chirina" is one of the largest production complexes today. It owns breeding and broiler farms, combined feed plants, raw material drying plants, meat processing plants, incubators, protein feed plants, water treatment plants, apple orchards, fruit refrigeration complexes, and a veterinary-diagnostic laboratory, "Sana". ISO 22000 standards with HACCP principles accredit each production link.Â
