Otar Shamugia meets the representatives of the World Bank.
The representatives of the World Bank First Support Mission of the "Georgia Resilient Agriculture, Irrigation, and Land Project" (GRAIL) paid a visit to Georgia. The mentioned project is being implemented jointly with the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture and the World Bank.During the visit, the parties planned activities and works for the following year. The Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Mr. Otar Shamugia, discussed the mentioned plans with Mrs. Rolande Pryce, World Bank Regional Director for the South Caucasus, and the Head of GRAIL, Dr. Ranu Sinha, and the Co-Head of the GRAIL project, Mr. Jan Nijhoff.
"Georgia Resilient Agriculture, Irrigation, and Land Project" (GRAIL) is one of the most significant (largest) projects embracing various directions. Within the scope of the project, an important reform will be implemented. Joint efforts are required to achieve the most effective results. The interest is very high from both sides, and all prerequisites are there to achieve the best results", said Mr. Otar Shamugia.

Mrs. Rolande Pryce, World Bank Regional Director for the South Caucasus, emphasized the effective coordination between the parties, noting that the "Georgia Resilient Agriculture, Irrigation, and Land Project" (GRAIL) will bring significant success to the country.
Mr. Tengiz Nasaridze, Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, and representatives of relevant services of the Ministry attended the meeting.Â
