The Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Yuri Nozadze attended the opening ceremony of the Georgia-China Xinjiang 9th commodity and trade expo.
Mr. Yuri Nozadze underlined the close relations between Georgia and China, wished participants success, and emphasized the role of similar events in establishing business relations.
"Georgia is the first country in the region to sign a Free Trade Agreement with China, which provides even more incentives to entrepreneurs, importers, and exporters. At the same time, it increases the attractiveness of the investment environment in Georgia. With the support of our Ministry, Georgian entrepreneurs participate in international exhibitions of all important Chinese agricultural products, wine, and alcoholic beverages, which helps them to strengthen ties. This exhibition will also help to enhance connections between the countries and facilitate successful cooperation in different areas," Mr. Yuri Nozadze noted.

As mentioned, China and Georgia have strong trade and economic ties, and the bond that began on the Silk Road is now reaching new heights. Similar exhibits assist in making the most use of the potential presented by the "One Belt, One Road" initiative, including strengthening bilateral connections, which boosts our nation's economic development and progress. Enhanced ties and collaboration between the countries will bring good results.
