Information meetings were held on the Management of Substances controlled by the Montreal Protocol.
To improve the management of Montreal Protocol-regulated substances, from January 1, 2024, the sregistration of import-export, purchase/disposal, and consumption of the mentioned substances will be undertaken electronically (emoe.gov.ge).
With the support of the United Nations Environment Program (UNDP), the representatives of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture held informational meetings with the representatives of the refrigeration and air conditioning sector in the following cities: Tbilisi, Batumi, Kutaisi, Gorsa and held in Telavi.
On January 22-26, 2024, the trainings will be conducted for persons serving heat pumps, refrigeration, and air conditioning equipment in Tbilisi. The mentioned training sessions aim to teach the usage of the electronic management system of Montreal Protocol-regulated substances.
