The Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia is implementing the "Georgia Resilient Agriculture, Irrigation, and Land Project " with the financial support of the World Bank.
The feasibility study for constructing a new irrigation reservoir is planned within the framework of the mentioned project in the Kakheti region, Akhmeta municipality, on the Ilto River, to improve the supply of irrigation water resources of the Zemo ‘’Upper’’ and Kvemo ‘’Lower ‘’ Alazani irrigation systems.
The feasibility study will investigate the current studies and technical materials, including research following new international standards and preparing an environmental impact assessment document.
An international tender has been announced for the mentioned consulting services.
