Nino Tandilashvili was elected as the Vice President of the Seventh Session of the UN Environment Assembly (UNEA-7)

At the Sixth Session of the UN Environment Assembly (UNEA-6), the  First Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, Mrs. Nino Tandilashvili, was elected as the Vice President of the Seventh Session of the UN Environment Assembly (UNEA-7) for a two- year term.

The UN Environment Assembly embraces 193 member states and is the world's highest-level decision-making body on environmental issues, which sets the global environmental agenda and determines priorities for policy and international environmental law.

The United Nations Environment Assembly promotes cooperation between countries towards mobilizing resources and achieving environmental goals.
