The First Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia participates in the working meeting of the European Commission Directorate-General for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations in Brussels.

Mrs. Nino Tandilashvili, the First Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia took part in the working meeting of the European Commission Directorate-General for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations in Brussels.

 

The parties reviewed the implementation of the recommendations outlined in the conclusion of the European Commission and emphasized the planned activities.

 

Mrs. Tandilashvili thanked the European Union for supporting Georgia in the agricultural and environmental protection fields and emphasized the importance of continuous collaboration with the European Union. The First Deputy Minister briefed the representatives of the European Commission on the measures and plans of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia.

 

The European Commission positively assessed the steps taken by Georgia and expressed its readiness to cooperate with the relevant agencies of the country.

Mr. Gennadi Arveladze, the Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, Mr. Vakhtang Makharoblishvili, the Ambassador of Georgia to the European Union, representatives of relevant Ministries of Georgia, and the Heads of relevant Directorates-General (DGs) of the European Union participated in the meeting in Brussels.
