The parties discussed the prospects and current challenges of the aquaculture sector.
 "One of the Ministry's top priorities is to promote sustainable aquaculture development. The aquaculture sector in Georgia has great potential for expansion. As we know, direct communication with farmers is essential for overcoming challenges and making sound decisions. We have exciting plans. Together with our entrepreneurs, we will undoubtedly be able to take crucial steps and utilize the potential we already have in the sector", said Mr. Otar Shamugia.

The conversation touched upon the significance of increasing field knowledge, enhancing laboratory capacity, and establishing a unified vision for field development.
The Deputy Minister, Mr. Tengiz Nasaridze, and Heads of relevant departments attended the meeting at the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture.
