According to the data of July 23, Georgia has exported 9000 tonnes of peaches

According to the data of July 23, Georgia has exported 9000 tonnes of peaches, which is 3.4 thousand tons (61%) more than we had in the previous year. The products are mainly exported to the Russian Federation (71.8%), Armenia (17.9%), Azerbaijan (8.0%), as well as in Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.

The coordination center, which organizes peach delivery and selling process operates in Gurjaani, Kakheti region. The group composed of the representatives of the informational-consulting center of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, as well as specialists of phyto sanitary field will be engaged in the peach harvesting process. The group will provide measures to prepare/issue necessary export documents under the frame of the ‘’Single Window’’ principles.
