Georgia exported peaches and nectarines worth USD 16 million.

From May 1 to July 25, 2024, Georgia exported 14.2 tonnes of peaches and nectarines, which is 4% (13.7 tonnes) more than the same period of the previous year. Export income has also increased by 9%, exceeding USD 16.2 million. 

Noteworthy, the income received from peaches and nectarines amounted to USD 14.8 million over the same period last year. Furthermore, peach prices rose by 5%, reaching USD 1.14 per kilogram, based on the most recent data.

It is worth mentioning that in the last ten years, the export of peaches and nectarines exceeded 170 thousand tonnes. The income from exports reached USD 154 million.
