The Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Otar Shamugia, meets the Hungarian Minister of Energy, Csaba Lantos.

As part of the ongoing UN Climate Change Conference (COP 29) in Baku, Azerbaijan, the Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, Mr. Otar Shamugia, met with the Hungarian Minister of Energy, Mr. Csaba Lantos.

 

The parties focused on strengthening the existing partnership between Georgia and Hungary and exploring new avenues for cooperation, particularly in the environmental protection field.

The meeting underscored the significance of the Joint Declaration on Strategic Partnership, a cornerstone framework reflecting the robust and multidimensional relations between the two nations.

The Hungarian delegation expressed a strong commitment to collaboration in several key areas, including institutional development, the adoption of modern technologies, the implementation of advanced water resource management policies, and the promotion of investments and production development.
