David Songhulashvili: “We strive to enhance Georgia’s role and influence on the global stage through collaboration with international partners.”

“We aim to strengthen Georgia’s position on the world stage by fostering cooperation with international partners, enabling the country to be a reliable and valued participant in diverse economic partnerships. Achieving this goal requires continuing reforms and effectively utilizing the country’s resources and potential. Georgia must evolve into an economically robust state with advanced infrastructure, leveraging all available opportunities and international relations to secure a brighter future,” stated Mr David Songhulashvili, the candidate for Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, during a joint session of the Finance and Budget, Sectoral Economy and Economic Policy, Agrarian Issues, Environmental Protection, and Natural Resources, and Regional Policy and Self-Government Committees.

Mr. Songhulashvili expressed gratitude to the Parliament of Georgia, the districts he represented as a Majoritarian Deputy (Gurjaani, Sagarejo, Sighnaghi, and Dedoplistskaro municipalities), and all employees who supported him. He also extended his best wishes to the eleventh convocation of the Parliament.

“I am confident that with the strong support of Parliament and our Ministry, we will foster active collaboration on every issue with both the private sector and relevant committees. Together, we will address each challenge effectively. I wish you all great success, and thank you once again for your support,” Mr. David Songhulashvili concluded.
